Dr Lee Ju Seong, Acting Head of English Language Education, has been named a finalist in the Language and Linguistics category at the 2024 Professional and Scholarship Excellence (PROSE) Awards for his work, ‘English Language Learning in the Digital Age’ published by Wiley-Blackwell. Co-authored with Professor Mark Dressman and Dr Laurent Perrot, Dr Lee investigates the innovative application of IDLE (Informal Digital Learning of English) to bridge the gap between formal and informal English learning in the digital and AI era.

Since 1976, the Association of American Publishers’ PROSE Awards have recognised publishers who produce books, journals, and digital products of extraordinary merit that make a significant contribution to a field of study.
